I have been a full time personal trainer for 4 years. In this time, I have worked with clients from all walks of life, each carrying their own different stresses, injuries & niggles. One thing I have noticed is that the majority of people don't take the rest and recovery phase of training seriously, or at least don't value its importance. Because of this, many of you are living in constant pain and discomfort, which can be detrimental to your physical and mental wellbeing. This, along with wanting to offer my clients an extended service, is what drove me to become qualified in sports massage. I myself have been going for regular sports massage for a few years now, so I also know first hand the benefits it can deliver. You do not need to be an elite athlete to reap the benefits of sports massage, and it is available to anyone despite your athletic ability, occupation, or background.
When I am not in the gym or treatment room, you will usually find me on the golf course, walking my dog Jasper, or watching football (or any sport for that matter).
