Yoga Stretch
Come wind down your mind and body with this gentle hour of stretching and releasing. We’ll ease into a mixture of both active and passive postures to help melt away muscular tension and improve flexibility, whilst staying connected to our breath to soothe our nervous system. If we only spend time tightening our muscles without finding balance with stretches too, this can make our bodies more vulnerable to injuries, pain and overall discomfort. This fusion of a hatha, yin and restorative yoga practice is suitable for everyone, particularly great for athletes, those with sedentary jobs or those simply looking for a slower practice.
Flow and Restore Yoga
Join us for a steady-paced vinyasa flow to open your body followed by a grounding restorative yoga sequence to calm your central nervous system. Perfect for when you want the combined benefits of both class types.
Suitable for all levels including beginners, this class will ease away the tensions of the day and leave you feeling completely relaxed. Who says you can't have the best of both worlds?
Yin Yoga
In a Yin Yoga class, you will enter into a deep state of relaxation where you can let go of your worries, to develop a greater sense of awareness and contentment. Yin Yoga is a slow- paced style of yoga, which involves melting into a reclined or seated position and holding these restorative poses for 3 minutes or more, depending on your ability. These postures are supported by props such as bolsters and blocks, which enable you to really stretch out the muscles and tissues around your joints, combatting tension in a subtle but unique way, that might not be possible in more energetic yoga classes.
Aerial Stretch and Release
Whether you run, swim, cycle or spend time in a desk job, you are likely to build up tightness and tension in your muscles. In this class we work with the yoga hammock at a lower level and focus on stretching out tight hips, hamstrings, backs and shoulders. Suitable for all (except during pregnancy), you will feel like you’ve given yourself a sports massage with a deep release into all those tight spots!
