Yin Yoga is a slow- paced style of yoga, which involves melting into a reclined or seated position and holding these restorative poses for 3 minutes or more, depending on your ability. These postures are supported by props such as bolsters and blocks, which enable you to really stretch out the muscles and tissues around your joints, combatting tension in a subtle but unique way, that might not be possible in more energetic yoga classes. Suitable for all levels including beginners.
