This course is designed to help you use yoga, breathwork, and meditation to support individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and those healing from past trauma. Whether you're a yoga teacher or simply someone interested in holistic wellness practices, you'll learn how to create a safe, calming space for both the mind and body.

We’ll explore how these mindful practices can regulate the nervous system, especially when it's been affected by mental health conditions. By practicing yoga in a slow, rhythmic, and mindful way, you can help soothe the nervous system and allow the brain to function optimally.

Mental Health & The Nervous System: Understand how mental health conditions impact the brain and body, and how yoga can help restore balance. We’ll dive into both Eastern and Western perspectives, including ancient yogic wisdom like the Gunas.

Supporting Students with Anxiety & Depression: Discover how to recognize what your students may be experiencing during class and how to best support them.

Trauma-Informed Yoga: Learn how to run trauma-sensitive yoga classes, avoiding common triggers and creating a safe, healing environment for everyone.

Sample Yoga Classes & Breathwork Practices: You’ll receive guided classes and breathwork exercises designed specifically for mental health support, along with printable PDF scripts to make it easy to lead your students through the practices.
